Lynn Redgrave died after fighting cancer for years
Lynn Redgrave has died at the age of 67.
Redgrave, whose career goes back to the mid 60′s, died Sunday night after a seven-year long battle with breast cancer. She died at her Connecticut home, surrounded by her children, Ben, Pema and Annabel.
Her publicist released the following statement on behalf of Lynn’s family:
“Our beloved mother Lynn Rachel passed away peacefully after a seven year journey with breast cancer. She lived, loved and worked harder than ever before. The endless memories she created as a mother, grandmother, writer, actor and friend will sustain us for the rest of our lives. Our entire family asks for privacy through this difficult time.”
Redgrave’s older brother, Corin Redgrave, died at the age of 70 last month in London. Also, Natasha Richardson, who died in a skiing accident last year, was Lynn’s niece. Lots of loss for this family over the past year.
R.I.P. Lynn.
