Julia Louis-Dreyfus: The Hollywood Star Mistake

Julia Louis-Drefus’ Hollywood star: a rough draft

CNN Entertainment Senior Producer David Daniel was in Hollywood yesterday morning and walked by the preparations of Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

He glanced at Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ star, which was being shined up for yesterday morning’s ceremony, and did a double-take.

Julia’s name was spelled wrong.

It read: JULIA LUIS DREYFUS.

That’s right, LUIS. Aye, aye, aye! Well, today IS Cinco de Mayo, right? But this was no joke!

So David called Ana Martinez-Holler, the press rep for the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and told her of the mistake. She freaked and supposedly had the LUIS temporarily fixed to read: LOUIS. Oh yeah, and the hyphen was added.

Apparently Julia was told of the mistake and thought it was a riot. She actually wanted them to keep it! Gotta love her. Some stars would have lost their damn minds had it happened to them. Heads would roll, let’s just say.

So, we will post pics later of Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony and you can see the temporarily fixed star then.

Happy Cinco de Mayo, bitches. You too, Luis!
