Bret Michaels was featured on the Today Show this morning, and for the first time since his brain hemorrhage on April 21st, Michaels speaks about his terrible ordeal.
Michaels says he was more worried about his children than anything. He worried about them having to grow up without a father if he died. It’s probably that determination to survive that got him where he is today.
Bret described the intense pain that came as he fell ill:
“I thought someone shot me in the head.”
“It was the most severe, instant pain I have ever felt in my life.” – Bret Michaels
We also learned that Michaels MIGHT attend the Celebrity Apprentice live finale – now just a couple weeks away. Wouldn’t that be something! Bret is being assessed every 2 weeks, so if his next checkup goes well, it is a possibility.
And hell, he is such a damn fighter, nothing can keep the man down! Hope to see Bret on The Apprentice finale, and of course, wishing him a complete recovery and a speedy start on his “Bucket List”!
MUST watch this video – it’s really informative about Bret and where he’s at in his recovery.
Good for him! Stay strong Bret! :)

Good luck to Bret. Loved him in the 80s. Scary ordeal but it does make you realize how fragile life is.
