Lena Horne Dead at 92

Lena Horne died Sunday night at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Her son-in-law, Kevin Buckley, confirmed her death.

Lena was 92.

Lena was gorgeous and talented, but sadly when she was in her prime, racism was rampant and kept her from becoming a major movie star. Horne did do movies, mostly in the 1940′s but only a handful after that. Her real talent was music. She appeared on Broadway often in the 1940′s and recorded music throughout her lifetime. Ms. Horne was also a staunch civil rights activist in in 1960′s.

She was incredibly, jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Just checkout these amazing photos. Girlfriend definitely had it going on. R.I.P.
