Teacher Beats Student in Houston [VIDEO]

Teacher beats student at Houston school

Sherri Davis, a Houston teacher, was caught on video beating the hell out of a student in her classroom.

Students watching are heard laughing at the incident but many people are not laughing after viewing the controversial video.

The student allegedly beat up a disabled girl earlier in the day and it enraged the teacher who felt it necessary to seek revenge for the girl. Unfortunately the way she went about disciplining the 13-year-old boy was wrong. She beat him up.

It’s kind of wild because back in my day, this sort of thing could have happened and the teacher could have gotten away with it. Believe me, I had a teacher who would tie us to our chairs, lock us in bathrooms and hit us with books. And that was for simply whispering in class! But in this day and age teachers can’t get away with this sort of thing. And even though some might say the kid had it coming, (I mean what sort of bully beats up a disabled girl?!) I don’t think beating a kid is the way to get through to them. Hopefully someone will teach that little sh*t not to go around beating up disabled girls, or any girls for that matter, and maybe someone will teach the teacher on how to effectively discipline problem children. Oops, too late, she lost her job. Oh, and ironically, the school was a school for children with disciplinary problems. Hmmm…

I feel for her about being so angry this rotten kid beat up a disabled child, she should have called the police, had him arrested for assault and the courts could intervene in what must be a bad home situation that would be monitored by the court system and probably a lengthy CPS investigation with mandatory family counseling.

So now this little booger eater will elicit sympathy when he deserves none, and of course she will never teach again. She should have taken him to a place with no witnesses and kicked his evil little ass, *I joke* but what kind of monster beats up a disable GIRL in the first place?

Nobody wins in this situation. No one.

  2. lisa says:

I applaud her. I have a handicapped daughter who cannot defend her self. He woulda done that to her and i got ahold of him? Lil fuker would be a big stain on the floor. He should be taken out of the student population and stick his sick ass in JDC til he rots!

  3. J.S. says:

Ok, so yeah I think that the boy should get in trouble IF he did beat up that disabled girl. The article said he allegedly hit the girl. They should first prove that hit the girl and then punish him. I mean, isn’t this country based on “innocent until proven guilty”. Come on, people. If he did hit the girl, then the teacher had no right to BEAT him. That’s a little harsh. The teacher should have taken the boy and the girl up to the office and straighten the whole situation there. I think the teacher should have lost her job or something at least for beating him.

  4. erika says:

Hell ya I would have lost it too! That teacher was probably already aware of how hopeless this boys parants are! Its okay though…that boy is obviously a lost case…he’ll be lost in the prison system within 3-4 years. Sorry to offend the softy parents out there but its because we lack some level corporal punishment that our children have become monsters at our schools. From gang rape to murder….what’s next that we can’t interfere in the nation of the Lord of the Flies?

  5. gramma says:

They should give her a medal, then sterilize that little bastd before he breeds

  6. Esperanza says:

I’m mexican, and when I was in school, the teacher had all the authority, and they would beat us with a wooden ruler in our hands or pull on my hair when I was distracted, and if a parent didn’t like it the school would tell them to take the kid out of their school because they where going to discipline us if they didn’t. But I have not heard about a school shooting, stabbing, or a bomb threat yet!!
I think teachers should have more authority in their classroom.
She did what she thought the kid needed, and I think he really did!!

  7. Erin says:

Wow! Although I think the little punk deserved a beating, I am not sure the teacher should have been the one doing it. I think his a** should have been expelled and put in a juvenile hall. She lost her job over it and probably made this kid more hateful of humanity. Would be super hard not to wanna smack the crap outta him though for sure…

  8. kelvin says:

does anyone know for sure he beat up a disabled girl???? ive read a few articles and its never said for sure he did it….it stated he teased her…. and lets asume he did hit the girl – the teacher has no right to attack him …. just like the police has no right to beat you if you break the law

  9. Lala says:

Great – another teacher making us look bad! As much as I’ve thought in my head that some kids should get the “eye for an eye” treatment, I have NEVER hit a student. She crossed the line and will have major consequences I’m sure.

  10. Thelma says:

This is a very sad day; The teacher is made the villian and must suffer for doing what the child’s parents and/or care giver should have done.

This story would have been far different if the teacher had ignored the situation that caused her concern and something more devastating woud have happened to the girl. Read the stories of children who committed suicide because of bullies. The concensus is that the teachers who looked the other way for whatever reason should have assumed a greater responsibility for the victims. Sure she could have reported the incident; but often times, these kinds of incidents are overlooked or ignored because we know the administrators will not assume any responsibility. If the teacher can not control her classroom, she can not teach. The media and educators who condemn the teacher, should support her.

Instead, everyone has jumped on the band wagon to criticize and punish her before the facts are known.

My prayers are with the teacher; I applaud her for her willingness to stand up for what she believes.

  11. BApe747 says:

Hey. Justice WAS served. This day and age, some OLD SCHOOL ethics NEEDS to be administrated to these lil heathens that do ADULT BUTCHER CRIMES like these. She may have to do some time or retribution, but it was already a thought before her actions. FOR EVER ACTION, THERE’S A REACTION. All bad ass lil JITS……GET SOME!!!! IN THE FAAAAAAACE!!!!

  12. BApe747 says:

    FOR EVERY ACTION, THERE’S REACTION

  13. Roxanne says:

If the teachers had back up from the school system, maybe this would not have happen.

  14. outraged says:

How dare any of you state that this child needed beat when it says CLEARLY that these children are in a school for troubled students anyway.. Noone in hell has the right to swing on a child in the face like that.. taking a paddle to someones butt is completely different then actually laying your hands on someone elses son or daughter. You people are insane to say that you agree with the actions she took, I have a mentally challenged sister so i know what its like to have to defend someone but you don’t take matters into your own hands like that. And unless you were there who’s to say this little boy even “beat” up another child. But reguardless these are students with problems does that mean go beat the crap out of them.. if you can’t handle it then get another job, some jobs just are not made for people that don’t have patience!

  15. The Dirty D says:

    THIS IS SPAARTAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. Blakey V says:

    u are alll garbage

  17. steven says:

Excuse me, but there is no evidence that he beat up a disabled girl–from what I read the girl told him to shut up because he was making too much noise and he told her to bring it on; at that point, the teacher, having witnessed the exchange, intervened, but he DID not beat her up. (P.S. I have a daughter in special education myself).

  18. mike says:

I’d like to send the teacher money to defend herself. That kid deserved it.

  19. Kelly says:

No, I don’t agree yeah the little boy was wrong but the teacher was wrong to. As a adult she should have taking the right process. not did what she did. cause if it was my son i would have beat the fuck out of her. Yeah he was wrong but he didnt need to be beat like that.

  20. disgusted says:

    Lock her sorry ass up!!!
When is she ever going to be arrested!

  21. Lou says:

    This kid probably deserve this..

  22. bat81 says:

If you try and fight on a girl you need your ass whipped.

  23. janne says:

tuh id smack, stab, shot, tied do anything to that teacher.id smack the out of her mother too.the little brat is now who nows where thinking…i hate teachers.maybe he got so scared that he doesnt wanna go to school anymore.i mean i bet he deserved it but not that way.the teacher should had called the girls parents and his and do something with him.i hope the teacher stays in prison till death.gosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  24. James says:

Bernie Mac once said “If you’re old enough to talk back you’re old enough to get fucked up.”. I have a seven year old son, if he was to even raise his hand or threaten, let alone hit a girl; especially a special needs one at that. You better believe he’s getting his ass beat at least once and if another adult deems necessary to do so, get after it, just leave some for me. Our children have hardly any manners let alone morals nowadays, so if parents aren’t willing to put a foot in thier ass it’s good to know there are still some out there that will. Beat em’ like a drum!!

  25. Roland says:

Let’s turn the tables on this situation. What if this teacher was white? What would her future be like? She would be in jail, no questions asked. Now if she was white and didn’t get jail time guess who would be on the next flight to Houston? Jesse Jackass and his buddy Sharpton calling for justice. There is obviously something wrong with this and unfortunately it will be swept under the rug and our schools nationwide will continue to suffer. What are the ISD’s doing to fix this?!?!?!

  26. Isaac says:

a pitiful shame to those who say this is justice when the facts aren’t even straight on this page about what the 13 year old did. Way to tell a little boy that he does not get rights as a citizen, guilty without proof and word of mouth. The article I read said he had some choice words and verbally tried to initiate the fight. that does not warrant any type of punishment if thats the case. not only that you can hear students say that he didn’t try to hit her (40 sec) and a few seconds before someone said he did try to hit her. but yes we let this distaste of our children go on the internet thinking they aren’t watching…well it shows everywhere they go how adults feel about them based on what, where they go to school, what neighborhood they live in? Let’s not complain when these children (who we stereotype ALL of the time) grow up and you get what you asked for in spades from adults who grew up being told that they were scum (at 13 and younger) and living up to what we all are teaching them that they are. Every child has an opportunity to be great but we don’t tell them that. violent and undisciplined scum (without even knowing the whole truth) thats what we tell them.

  27. Thomas Sherman says:

You’ve probably all seen the video of the Houston female school teacher whipping up on the 13 yr old boy. Wow, what a lot of todo over that, the teacher is fired and mama is suing the school. The boy had a black eye and other bruises.

In the 1st place, I wonder what he was doing to make the teacher lose it like that? He must have really been trying her boot on.

If the boy had any male hormones in him at all there would be a whole different story coming out. A real boy would be ashamed and humiliated about his mama making such a sissy out of him.

The story should be, “Aw shucks that wuzn’t nothing, it didn’t hurt. I got a black eye because I didn’t keep my guard up, she got a lucky punch in and she was using knucks.” “It wuzn’t nothing cause I coulda took that standing on my head, she hits like an old woman anyway.” “You got no idea how bad I wuz messing with her and pushing her to make her mad,,,,I’m surprised she didn’t blow sooner the way I wuz mesing with her.” “It didn’t hurt anyway and I get to show off all the bruises,,,,they are chick magnets, don’t you understand?”

  28. SJJ says:

I think there should be one person in every school that can physically discipline a kid. It should not be the teacher because she may have a kid in her class that might get hit more than others simply because the teacher doesn’t like that particular student. People who do not work with kids say all the time, you should never hit a kid. Some kids will push and push until the teacher shows a reaction. The teacher needs a place to send those kids, be a buddy room, the dean, the principal. The teacher is human, not a saint, human and humans have limits. Some kids AND their parents have no limits and no understanding of why one needs them,
I just want to know what ELSE this kid has done all school year to warrant such a beating. This was not punishment, this was I’m losing my job anyway, I might as well get all of my frustrations out on this kid.

  29. nikki says:

The kid deserved what he got. Yes, she steeped over the line, but with no back up from the school she just finally snapped. These little brats don’t have any consequences for what they do. Bet he don’t pick on another disabled kid again. Yeah for the teache3r

  30. James says:

As i afore mentioned Bernie Mac ( Just so you know it’s the same James) I am a Mixed breed person labeled white, although i have Irish, Scottish, German, Cherokee, Creek, and predominatly Italian, yet i’m white or caucasion. Personally fuck race if you can’t see past the skin thats whack and that goes for all races as Roland mentioned. I don’t care if my son’s teacher is black, white, red, yellow, or purple for that matter. If his ass gets out of line, put a foot in it, cause believe me he’d rather have someone else do it than me. No i don’t beat my child i only bust his ass enough so whatever issue we had no longer exists and will never come around again. I recieved plenty of ass whoopings when i was a youngster and i deserved everyone to the extent i recieved them, sometimes deserved worse and i am succesful, have morals (personal and socially bound ) parents need to step up. If i was his dad/mom i’d whip his ass for getting his ass whooped cause it’s not like the teacher was like enie meanie minni moe and he got picked.

  31. Roland says:

You missed my point James. I was talking about what the teacher’s punishment was and the reality of how race possibly played a role in her termination. And you are absolutely right, race has no grounds on how our children are taught but do you really think that this kind of retaliation towards our students is acceptable? This school is for troubled kids that have run ins with criminal activity, gangs, and history of violence in broken homes. Being beat up by an UNLICENSED TEACHER, as reported in the news, in front of his cheering peers, is soooooo out of control. I went to a Catholic school that incorporated corporal punishment in the classrooms, but the staff had a way about it that was, quick, out of sight, and to the point. I learned my lessons and the students did as well on my behalf.

  32. Staice says:

Kick his ass, littlie Bastard, that is what he gets, I’m sick of these kids who feel like they can do whatever with no consequence. I would have stomped his ass too. Yes I have kids and if my child did something to piss a teacher off like that, he would get it again when he got home.
However that would never happen to me, because my kids are raised right.

  33. You're all idiots. says:

For those of you condoning what she did, do YOU hit your children with fists? If you do, CPS should take them away from you immediately. There is a difference between corporal punishment and flat out abuse. You all sound like abusive assholes yourselves. Who knows, maybe punching is his parent’s idea of corporal punishment so he feels it is OK to abuse other people as a result of his abuse.

As for the whole idea that lack of corporal punishment creates little monsters, that’s bullshit. I don’t spank my kids and I have NEVER had any behavioural problems such as this in all the years I have been raising them. To each their own, if you feel corporal punishment is the way to go, that’s you choice. But it is a fallacy to think that kids who are raised without it are little brutes. I was never disciplined in this manner and I turned out better than fine, currently earning a double major in nursing and psychology. I’ve never been in trouble with the law and I have certainly never assaulted anyone.

  34. Shame on you all says:

You people are all trash! Seriously, my God. Who the hell would think it’s ok for this b*tch to do this?? What MORONS you all are. And quoting Bernie Mac?? Are you for real?? He was a comedian you stupid f*uck.

  35. Shame on you all says:

You people are all trash! Seriously, my God. Who the hell would think it’s ok for this b*tch to do this?? What MORONS you all are. And quoting Bernie Mac?? Are you for real?? He was a comedian you stupid child beater. He wrote stuff to make people laugh, not abide by! Wow, it’s so sad knowing there are people who think that an eye for an eye is the answer. Ya ever heard this term– ”two wrongs don’t make a right”. It’s freakin’ elementary. Not rocket science. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.
