Lindsay Lohan issued arrest warrant
The judge in Lindsay Lohan’s case has issued an arrest warrant for the actress after she failed to appear in court this morning.
Lohan, who has blamed volcanic ash from Iceland – to someone stealing her passport for not being able to return home from Cannes this week, has not completed the required number of court appointed alcohol classes. Her court date was this morning and the judge had warned Lohan previously that if she did not show to court that an arrest warrant would be issued for her. Before issuing the arrest warrant the judge told Lohan’s attorney: “Actions speak louder than words. She has to take this seriously. I warned her before.”
We just KNEW Lohan was lying about the stolen passport, and get this, French police say that she NEVER reported a stolen passport to authorities. Durrrrr! Because it was never stolen! Gawd Lindsay is a terrible actress! HA!
So what happens after an arrest warrant is issued? Well, Lindsay will return home at some point and have to deal with it. We hear she likely will not be arrested at the airport, being as this is a misdemeanor, so she will be given a chance to turn herself in. Once she does that, she will go to jail, pay the $100,000 bail, and (Deja vu!) she will be issued an alcohol monitoring bracelet.
I am glad this is happening. What a complete moron. Bitch think she is entitled! Someone needs to knock her back down to earth and hopefully this will help do that a bit. Honestly, I’d like to see her do a week in the slammer. What a mess she would be with no cocaine, pills or alcohol to quaf down.
Now we just wait and see how long it takes her to come home. You just KNOW she’s not going to be in any hurry now that she has an arrest warrant waiting for her!
UPDATE!
We are hearing that Lindsay Lohan WILL be arrested at the airport when she lands in Los Angeles (whenever that is) thanks to that pesky arrest warrant. A U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer told TMZ, “Anyone who enters the country who has an active warrant in the law enforcement database will be detained by their office and local authorities will be called.”

I thought that this would play out this way. She had not planned to go to Cannes and it’s turned out to be a drastically bad idea, but with the scram and random drug testing with a very high bail either she will have to face she has a problem and deal with it, or learn she isn’t special and gets to live by her rules and flaunt openly the rules everyone else has to live by. In the end she will get through this and if it shuts that weirdo father of hers it can only help her nearly ruined career.
Partying in Cannes meant she missed her uncles funeral, missed her brother’s college graduation, her final classes to be compliant with the court, her court date. I was the worst decision but not that surprising she made it.
She needs to learn the hard way I guess…
