Ramsden and Winehouse

19-year old, Justin Ramsden built an Amy Winehouse bust from 3,000 Legos as a part of a college class project.

The project, called “British Icons,” took place at the Art and Design Queen course at Elizabeth Sixth Form College. It took Ransden two-weeks to build the Winehouse piece.

Ramsden is in a Lego building club, yes, he takes it all very seriously. He says: “I really like Lego. It’s a different medium to express my art. I like the fact that although it is all bricks and angular, you can still create curves and artistic designs.”
