Al Gore and wife Tipper Gore
Al Gore and Tipper Gore have split and are headed for a divorce.
The Gore’s, who have been married for 40-years, have recently decided to call it quits. In an email obtained by the Associated Press, the Gore’s said the split came after “a mutual and mutually supportive decision that we have made together following a process of long and careful consideration.” They claim there was no affair, but that they simply grew apart.
Al and Tipper Gore have four children.
The timing is interesting because they just bought a magnificent floating house made of glass in Monticito near Santa Barbara. Well if nothing else they survived 40 years, which is longer than most marriages and aren’t going the John Edwards route by trashing each other.
