The Go-Go’s lead singer Belinda Carlisle was on Good Morning America this morning discussing her life as a Go-Go, her struggles with drug and alcohol abuse and her marriage.

Love this woman and I love the Go-Go’s. Still, one of my favorite bands ever.

Carlisle, now 51, has recently wrote a book, Lips Unsealed, about her life. She not only struggled with drugs, she also suffered weight issues for years.

The Go-Go’s are reuniting for a tour this summer. Make sure you catch them if they are in your town, Carlisle says it is going to be the last group tour for the ladies!
