Lindsay Lohan’s Wisdom Teeth: Creative Drug Seeking?



Lindsay Lohan had her wisdom teeth pulled Tuesday

Lindsay Lohan has a SCRAM ankle bracelet on to keep her from drinking, and she has to succumb to weekly drug testing, right?

So how is the timing, that suddenly, at the age of 23, it’s time to get her wisdom teeth pulled? Oh yeah, because you get prescribed narcotics when you have your wisdom teeth pulled! Aha, now it all makes sense. And because the narcotics are for a medical procedure, and are legal, the courts have allowed Lindsay to take the narcotics. Of course they have.

Usually it is Vicodin or Percocet that are prescribed after getting your wisdom teeth pulled, and those drugs can take the place of other, illegal drugs, that Lindsay is being tested for while under the court’s watchful eye. To bad the courts are being so lenient. Seems weird, no?

Lindsay, obviously an addict, is pulling whatever she can to still take drugs while being tested. Funny how her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, is playing along. She told TMZ: “We advised the Probation Department of the dental appointment, which was made well in advance of last week’s court hearing.” By “well in advance” does she mean a week? I doubt Lindsay has had an appointment to take out her wisdom teeth any longer than that. Fishy.

I worked at dental offices for years and let me tell you, we would have drug seekers fake dental pain, let their teeth rot and go to crazy extremes to try and get a gnarly prescription. I have a feeling this is what Lindsay is doing.

Having your wisdom teeth is certainly no emergency, unless they are abscessed of course, but it’s not likely that is Lindsay’s situation. Way to get creative, Linds. If only you put that kind of energy into your work, you might actually have a career.

    I had mine pulled at the same time, why would you want to drag something like oral surgery out? The age is right, and if you have even one impacted the dentist wants to get all of them out. The meds you get are codeine tylenols which are not getting high drugs. She seems to be out and active for someone with a supposed horrific near death addiction to alcohol and blow, or her ADD and sleeping pills as her father tells it.

    I have never seen anyone come out of the dentist’s office or an oral surgery suite with their head wrapped up like a cartoon though.

    Yeah, I had mine all pulled at the same time and all I got prescribed were T3s as well. And I stopped needing them after a couple of days. Celebrities can be such babies.

    Jinx & Kathy, It can be quite common to be prescribed VIcodin for oral surgery. But yeah, the “cartoon wrap” that she had around her head? NEVER, EVER have I seen such a thing…in 7 yrs of dental assisting, lol.

    Although sad, I wouldn’t be surprised if she did do the dental work hoping some sort of drugs would be in the recovery. Even if vicodin wasn’t normally prescribed (which it sounds like it is commonly so), I am thinkin’ Lohan would try to cop the whole “do you know who I am” attitude with the office. Ha! I could totally see that…Very sad, but addicts do whatever they can.

    wtf? i got my wisdom teeth pulled yesturday too! and all I’ve taken are 3 800mg of ibuprofen and i was in no pain what so ever!! did she go to an oral surgeon? that’s where I went. they put you out and numb you and your better in 3 days.

    I had to have all four out in the chair. They were impacted like woah.

    While I had to wait three months for my dental appointment (dental health care in Australia blows, people), I was chowing down on prescription-level codeine & ibuprofen every day to get me through it. Then when I had them out, I was prescribed some HARDCORE pain relief (in line with Vicodin, etc) which I assure you was needed.

    Not saying Lindsay’s wisdoms were as fucked up as mine, but try to not assume that everyone’s dental issues will be identical to your own, yeah?
