Shannon Price and Gary Coleman
Gary Coleman’s wife, Shannon Price, called 911 after her husband had fallen, but she didn’t seem willing to help him, at all.
The 911 call really bothers me. She tells the dispatcher that she has been sick, “can’t deal with the blood” and doesn’t want to be “traumatized”, even though her husband may be bleeding to death. She yells at Gary to try and put pressure on the back of his own head instead of doing it for him, knowing that he is too out of it to take care of himself.
Now, I know that people in life threatening situations react differently, but damn girl, can’t you risk being “traumatized” for your husband?? I would be freaking the hell out if it were my husband, and God knows, I would be right by his side doing whatever the hell I could to help.
Listen to the 911 call here. Does it seem weird to you?
Seems very fishy…
Sadly, I’m not surprised – Shannon doesn’t seem to me to be “all there” and their marriage was always an odd one.
But yeah, it’s weird she basically did nothing.
Is there a phat life insurance policy we don’t know about??
If you got abused from Gary so much, I wouldn’t help him either, plus he fell awhile back, not just before he died.
But isn’t that fall directly connected to his death a few days later? If Gary had gotten the help he really needed, would he still be alive? And now there’s a rumor that Shannon didn’t actually have the power to pull the plug on Gary.
I don’t know – there’s something wrong with Shannon – wrong in the head. Something that goes beyond being abused by Gary.
Their WHOLE RELATIONSHIP has been odd, odd, odd.
Weird and sad story! Even if it was a stranger, I would do what I could to help them…so odd.
I hope the poor soul finds comfort in Heaven. His parents are POS, wife POS, etc.
whole thing is nutso. Poor Gary, hurt and out of it, and his wife is yelling at him to tend to himself basically. There’s no excuse for Shannon’s inability to help him. The police had better put her under a microscope in this one, something is terribly wrong. I hope Gary’s parents can find out the truth as well.
So sad. I cant believe she cared more for herself. She just let him die.
Here’s another twist to the story, they may have been divorced and living together. She presented herself as his wife, and made the decision to take him off life support, which was probably necessary no matter who signed off on it – but if true she misrepresented herself and the true nature of their relationship to the hospital. She sounds like a huge baby who can barely do for herself, self centered and unable to look past her own needs and fears to help anyone, even in dire need. If this is true you can bet Gary’s parents will try to sue her for every nickle they can pick off of his bones.
Just a sad story, and a cautionary tale about marrying childish mates who fall apart if they are asked to do anything. You see the same thing with Brittany Murphy’s mother on the 911 tapes — she couldn’t answer questions, wouldn’t give him any help at all until the EMT operator forced her to by yelling at her she had to give him CPR and Sharon complains the entire time. Baby adults are dangerous to have around if anything goes wrong, and oh so tiresome when things are going right.
What a cold, self centered person. She kept reiterating that she “didn’t know what happened”, when someone repeats something like that, it’s usually a lie. My wish for her is that she falls and cracks her head and no one helps her.
