Lady Gaga has released her new video for Alejandro and you can watch it here in it’s entirety.

Alejandro is a little creepy, a bit symbolic and of course, extremely entertaining, as Lady Gaga always is. Alejandro isn’t one of my favorite Gaga songs, but the video is, errrr, interesting, if you’re open minded, anyway. Pretty boys in heels, doggy style sex, nuns in bed…to me Alejandro is reminiscent of early 90′s Madonna. Think Like a Prayer meets Vogue meets Erotica. I wonder if Madonna is thinking the same thing?

    Pretty entertaining video…not sexy so much to me but, hey, I love Gaga’s presence. This is the closest “art” to early Madonna I have seen from her so far. Reminded me of early Madge and current Christina Aguilera. Song is so-so, but she is always entertaining and has an awesome voice.

    Totally reminds me of Madonna! The bed scenes are reminiscent of the Like a Virgin scene from Truth or Dare. The machine gun bra reminds me of the cone bras. I could go on. I wonder how Madonna feels about this…

    my hubby was feeling smart when he told me that it’s like lady gaga’s version of a madonna song as a tribute to her. i didn’t count on it and googled about it…seemed like a lot of people seem to be linking this with madonna!

    The song is great. It’s one of my favorites from “The Fame Monster.” I was really looking forward to the video coming out. While I think it’s an interesting video concept and a different look for her, I also think certain parts of it were kind of cheezy. If it was up to me, I would have left out the whole religious symbolism type of thing. It feels like it’s already been done by Madonna a long time ago. It seemed like it was intended to be controversial but just came off as…uhhh…okay, I’ve seen that before. The whole rosary thing, the red nun’s habit, etc. I loved the video otherwise, especially the gun bra. That was cool.
