The Chicago Tribune was having a little fun when they published a poster of  Philadelphia Flyers’ star defenseman, Chris Pronger, as “Chrissy Pronger”.

Of course it’s a rival thing, and the Chicago Tribune meant it as a joke really. But some people are tripping balls and completely freaking out saying it is tasteless and should never have been published in a distinguished newspaper.

“Chrissy Pronger: Looks like Tarzan, skates like Jane,” the Chicago Tribune poster reads. Chris Pronger is shown on the poster, his bottom half photoshopped with a woman in a figure skating skirt.

So, what’s your opinion on the whole “Chrissy Pronger” joke? I think people need to lighten up. (Oh yeah, go Blackhawks! )
