January Jones Hit & Run Accident

January Jones hit & run accident

Mad Men star January Jones lost control of her Range Rover Thursday night around 9pm, hitting at least three parked cars, then fled the scene.

January claims that the paparazzi were chasing her and one witness said that as January left the scene she said, “I can’t deal with this commotion.”

January told police that she had been at the London West Hollywood Hotel watching the Laker game then headed home. That’s when the paparazzi started chasing after her. After she hit the cars she left her license then walked home where she called authorities. Janaury’s car has been impounded and there will be an investigation. However, there was no evidence of drugs or alcohol.

Thursday morning there were photos of the actress arriving home in a dress she wore to the previous night’s event. So obviously someone got some, heh.

UPDATE:

A witness to the crash has a different story. It seems that after January hit the 3 cars she called the Food Network’s Bobby Flay, who she and a group of people were with while at the Laker game earlier. They had exchanged numbers because January wanted him to redo her kitchen. Flay says he and January only met once before and that he isn’t sure why she called him. He showed up at the accident to help. A witness says he argued with Jones, but Flay is denying that.

Another witness at the scene says she smelled alcohol on January’s breath. She alleges that January left the accident, went home, changed clothes and came back 45 minutes later, chewing gum.

Oh yeah, not ONE paparazzo was spotted at the scene.

Apparently there is no way police can do anything because once someone leaves the scene they cannot prove they were drunk behind the wheel.

The story sounded fishy to me earlier…I had an inkling that January had a bit to drink. She will get off without any charges, I’m sure.

I hate hit and runners!!! Having been a victim and also seeing some guy do this to an elderly woman (which my friend and I helped by finding the guy’s license plate that fell off — ha!), I have no sympathy for these a-holes once they get caught. If they don’t get caught, then karma, karma, karma.

Read something about her calling Bobby Flay to come to her rescue after the accident. Something going on there? Interesting…
