COP PUNCHES WOMAN [VIDEO]

Cop punches woman in Seattle after confrontation

So I see that the “Cop Punches Woman” video has gone viral.

Well, get the REAL story about the cop punching the woman HERE. I live in the Seattle area where this too place and I can tell you, this was not a case of a white cop punching a black woman, it was a case of a cop punching a suspect who was assaulting him.

This is what went down. The officer had stopped the women for jaywalking at a CRAZY busy intersection. This 5-way intersection is extremely dangerous and these high school kids were crossing it at a couple different places, not using the crosswalk obviously. The cop stopped them and all hell went loose. The two women yelled, screamed and pushed the officer around. Then of course a crowd started to build around the crazy scene. So the cop, obviously needing to control a situation that was getting out of hand, punched the woman (actually a 17-year-old) who was all up in his grill.

Hey, it worked. The cop punching the woman happened to diffuse the situation immediately. Cops are not playing, kids. You do NOT come flying at them, you do not scream at them and most of all, you do NOT touch, push or assault a cop in this manner. If you do, you should expect to be laid OUT. No?

Of course now it’s been turned into a race issue. Which, in my opinion, isn’t the case at all. I don’t care if you are a fat white chick, a skinny black guy, or a seven foot tall Asian, the rules apply to everyone. DO NOT assault a cop.

Let me add that I think SEVEN police officers have been killed in the line of duty in the past year here in our area, in terrible, terrible situations. So do I think cops have a right to defend themselves in situations like this? You bet.

Your thoughts?

Chris Rock says it BEST! (Thanks Glenn!)

Maybe if they stop acting like a bunch of ghetto monkeys the cop wont have to try and restrain them. Race? The only race issue is that they continue to act like they live in a jungle.

  2. Juli says:

All those men around were willing to get in the cops face with their video phones but not one offered to assist him. The cop is absolutely in the right here!! He should have punched both women.

  3. K* says:

Most of all I’m just appalled by how badly behaved those kids were.

The only thing I could think of watching this video is that the cop was absolutely within his rights, both to arrest the kids and subdue them. The girl was resisting arrest from the start, and the friend who stepped in and got punched was assaulting the police officer.

On the other hand, I’d also say that the policeman needs to do some more training about how to handle people resisting arrest – it took him a long time to get control of that girl. But why wasn’t there another policeman with him?

  4. Casey says:

TOTALLY agree with you Spicy. And K too.

I love how that guy’s all “Are you serious? Are you serious?” but seemed just fine with the girls wrestling with a cop. I mean, come on!

  5. KJ says:

Of course the race card will be played. And I’ll be labled racist when I say this – black people play this card whenver they are in the wrong. If that was a white girl, everything would have been ok – but since this was a black girl, I’m sure he was racial profiling. Just wait for Jesse and Al – who, by the way, still haven’t apologized to the Duke University lacrosse team from a few years ago.

  6. Rose says:

I wish we could say the police officials will back him on this, but her behavior tells you who owns that town/city, so I doubt they will. And like others I wondered why there was not an additional cop there backing him up, all the people could have gotten together and killed him then this would be a unsolved murder because you can bet no one would come forward. Never moving or visiting Seattle, it appears police have no authority there what so ever.

  7. Spicy says:

Rose, you cannot possibly think this one incident describes how our city is ran. Why don’t you visit. say, Detroit? lol THEN tell me more about Seattle, heh.

  8. Erin says:

I agree that police have one of the most dangerous jobs anyone could ever have. They need to defend themselves, and even though it is hard for me to see any woman get hit, I think that was the only way he could get this lady to stop grabbing at him. I felt bad for him watching this, with all of these people annoyingly sticking their phones in his face taping him all the while heckling him. I just wish he had more police back-up there to help him control this situation, so that he didn’t end up having to resort to hitting her. No one wins in this situation.

  9. Rose says:

I live near a city where cops do not show up and go it alone in any situation, Even routine stops during the day are done in pairs, they know what can happen if they do not have back up. Seattle, or any city/county, who runs things like this are just asking for trouble.

  10. Laura says:

One word – Lol. That cop aint half got guts. Jesus!

Honestly though, that stupid bitch should of backed off and the other should of stopped acting a tit and just should of got in the car! As for the rest of em? I mean c’mon, i’m sure 1 video is enough but like 10 other people too? – Is this like a reality showto them or something :/

  11. Al Sharpton says:

Watch your comments on Detroit Spicy… Just because Rose upset you with her comment doesnt mean you need to go trash another city to try and make yours look better. We all know Detroit has its issues but so do 100 other cities out there…

  12. Spicy says:

Hey “AL”…oh, I mean, JOSH. You called people “ghetto monkeys” and YOU are asking ME to watch what I say? HA!!!

    Riiiiigggghhht.

  13. Spicy says:

And btw, wasn’t busting Detroit’s balls, either. Just saying it’s a hell of a lot rougher city than Seattle. Just a fact!

  14. Al Sharpton says:

Damn IP Address… Luv ya hon!

  15. vinegartits says:

Hmmmmm, sorry but a man punching a teenager is never cool, the police are here to police our behaviour and should lead by example. Just my opinion.

  16. Kate says:

I’m a cop and I can tell you right now those bitches are all lucky they didn’t cop MORE from him. In a situation like that he was in REAL danger of being seriously assaulted. All those people gathering and adding fuel to the fire just escalate everything and he would have no chance if they’d all jumped in. Poor guy defended himself, saw the reaction of the public around and didn’t keep smashing them because it would have increased the risk of him being smashed by all the ‘hangers on’. I bet back up could not get there QUICK enough.
