MAD MEN SEASON 4 PREMIERE JULY 25, 2010!

Mad Men Season 4 premieres July 25th 2010, Sunday, on AMC!

Hooray! One more months until Mad Men!

I went through some serious withdrawals last fall after the season ended, but finally it is back!

This new Mad Men promo poster describes exactly where the show left off last season. If you recall, Don Draper had left Sterling Cooper to start his own company, and his wife Betty had left him for another man and asked him for a divorce.

I think the best scene from Mad Men Season 3 is when Ken rides into Joan’s going away party on a John Deer only to shred the foot of Guy MacKendrick. Ha! Wouldn’t you agree?

I wonder what this season of Mad Men has in store for us?  Do you think Don & Betty will stay split up, or will absence make the heart grow fonder? How about Joan’s marriage to Greg? It seemed a little shaky to say the least and Joan deserves much better.

Sadly, Sal, the good-looking, closeted homosexual, is not coming back to Mad Men this season. Messed up, I know! I loved his character. Last time we saw Sal he was possibly cruising Central Park for sex late one night. He called his wife and said he would be home late. Sal had just been fired by Don Draper for refusing to “service”  a Lucky Strike executive and we really don’t know where his story goes from there. I’m really hoping they bring him back though! Actor Bryan Blatt who plays Sal (and is also gay in real life) said in an interview that he hopes his character is brought back to Mad Men eventually. He also asked fans to help get him back on the show: “Keep those cards and letters coming. Start that Facebook group! There’s a million ways that he can come back, especially if time passes. Don does respect his talent. He is innocent. He did nothing wrong. Of course I would love to come back. It’s a heavenly place to work.”

    Hey!

In defense of Ken Cosgrove – he didn’t slice off the foot – Louis, the ever-fumbling secretary did :)
I too will really miss Sal.. But I’m afraid if they wanted him to come back – he’d be in the last episode begining the new beginning, so to speak.
