Miley Cyrus’ Sexy Costumes: Too Much?

Miley Cyrus: Too Sexy for 17?

Are Miley Cyrus’ recent stage costumes too revealing/ sexy?

They seem to be getting more and more risqué with every show she puts on. Miley says of all the controversy surrounding her on stage costumes: “I am an entertainer. What I wear on stage is not something I would wear to the grocery store.”

After Piggez posted a “fake” upskirt photo of Miley the controversy has grown even more. But photos of Miley in stage costumes this past week rival the fake shot that Piggez posted. Just sayin’, if it was my daughter, she’d be covered up more. Not that she would have to dress frumpy or anything. Let’s get real here. BUT girlfriend has LOTS of time to grow up and wear sexy, revealing outfits as she is more mature.

She will use the excuse that she is an entertainer, everyone in the music industry does it, etc. but I still think Miley is lacking some parental control here. Some say she may be the next Lindsay Lohan. Grew up too fast and by the age of 23 is washed up and burnt out. Could be. Which might be a good thing for us bloggers. We need another trainwreck to talk about. The good old days of bald Britney, Lindsay Lohan running around flashing crotch shots everywhere and Paris Hilton wearing t-shirts asking if you had any blow are gone. Ahhhh….the good old days.

Your opinion?

I think she is portraying herself as cheap and trampy. I can think of plenty of other older and more mature ways to dress that don’t require looking like a two-dollar hooker. If she has an ounce of talent, it is now overshadowed by this look she has made for herself.

I agree with Erin, she’s not dressing “sexy” shes dressing slutty, there is a big difference. Sexy implies someone would find the person alluring, this child just looks like she should be smoking on a corner looking bored and it’s really rather sad. Can those outfits even be called clothes?

    yeah baby..is she 18 yet??

i just think her parents exploit her, personally i do not think she sang sing work a spit and portrays herself to be as dumb as a fence post. now when your lil miley supporter gets on again to tell us all to go blow..i tell her to really listen to her voice..she ain’t no PINK girlfriend.

Well, she hasn’t left much to the imagination there, huh?

Under age? Across 90% of the planet she is *not* under age, so frankly who cares?

Now I’m not a “little Miley supporter”, but I am a fan of her music. She IS just entertaining. Yes, she could cover up more, but if you dont like the way she dresses, why are you watching her? She may not have the most smooth and lyrical voice, but her voice rocks! Reminds me of Stevie Nicks a little bit. It just doesnt match the KIND of music she’s singing right now. Give her time to grow up. ALL seventeen year olds make odd and sometimes wrong choices. Give the kid a break.
