Was Chris Brown’s crying at the BET Awards real or staged?
Chris Brown did an amazing tribute to Michael Jackson, first with a dance routine then by song. But the song part didn’t go so smoothly. Chris was supposed to sing Jackson’s Man in the Mirror, but after singing the first verse he couldn’t sing anymore because he was crying so hard. Or supposedly crying so hard…

I bought the performance – and Chris Brown’s crying – when I initially saw it, and I’d like to give him the benefit of the doubt here. But many people are convinced that Chris Brown’s crying at the BET Awards was all an act.
One “source” says that Brown used tear inducing eye drops, but I’m not sure I’m buying it.
