Lindsay Lohan’s manicure
Possibly, say two different Public Defenders.
New York City Public Defender Stacy Schneider says the Lohan manicure could hold Lindsay in contempt of court. Schneider says: “It would be a separate charge for contempt. She could have an entire extra sentence heaped on top of her current one. If the judge were angry enough, it could run even consecutively.”
Los Angeles Public Defender Greg Apt agreed, saying that it is a “creative” way to rebel against the court system.
“The judge could hold her in direct contempt, which could be between three to five days in jail for vulgarity,” says Apt, if Lindsay’s manicure was indeed meant as a blast to Judge Revel.
Lindsay is of course denying that the vulgar manicure had anything to do with court. She instead said on her Twitter account that it was just a joke between friends. Yeah, whatever. And those pants you were wearing with cocaine in them weren’t yours…and you weren’t driving when you got the DUI. Riiight. You can’t believe anything Lindsay Lohan says. She literally has an excuse for everything!
One of Lindsay’s “pals” is saying that the manicure she wore into the courtroom may have been aimed at her father, Michael Lohan, but I’m not buying it. However, it is a better excuse than “it was a joke with friends.”
Do you think Lindsay’s manicure was aimed at the court system?
