Pamela Anderson’s new PETA ad banned in Montreal
Pamela Anderson went to Montreal to unveil her new PETA ad, but once she got there officials deemed the ad “Sexist” and have banned the ad!
Montreal has denied a permit to PETA and Anderson, which is basically bringing more attention to the ad than it would have had they just granted the permit.
Pamela’s new PETA really isn’t that risqué, we have seen much racier PETA ads in the past, so I don’t get what the big stink is about.
Pamela Anderson spoke out about Montreal banning her new PETA ad: “In a city that is known for its exotic dancing and for being progressive and edgy, how sad that a woman would be banned from using her own body in a political protest over the suffering of cows and chickens. In some parts of the world, women are forced to cover their whole bodies with burqas—is that next? I didn’t think that Canada would be so puritanical.”
PETA Senior Vice President Dan Mathews agrees: “I think that city officials are confusing ‘sexy’ with ‘sexist.’”
