Parasailing Donkey: Just Sad! [Photos/ Video]

A group of men are being sought after in an animal cruelty case after sending a terrified donkey parasailing.

The donkey was being used to attract tourists to parasail on a beach in Golubitskaya, on the Sea of Azoz in Southern Russia, but instead, beach goers were upset and sickened by what they saw. Children cried.

The parasailing donkey flew over the beach screaming in fear as people watched in horror. The donkey was forced to parasail for 30 minutes, which must have been a lifetime to him.

The donkey was a working donkey who was known by all the locals. He had worked on the beach for years, posing with tourists for money. Many locals rushed to comfort him as he came to the ground.

The men responsible for sending the donkey up on the parasail could face two years in prison if they are caught, charged and convicted of animal cruelty.

Poor baby – donkeys are not supposed to fly!

    this just made me cry. i hope they catch these A**holes and lock them up.
    why would anyone do this?? wtf is wrong with people??
    i don’t know why i read anything to do with animal cruelty…it just breaks my heart. this poor poor guy…..beyond sad.

    I agree with kb…I actually don’t think I can watch this. I wish HORRID thoughts on people that hurt animals (or innocent people of course). Eye for an eye…they should tie these jerks up and make them parasail naked for a couple days, hanging upside down!…what evil a-holes.

    Who would do this? Horrible. But I don’t get why they are having a hard time finding the people, didn’t someone see who was pulling him?? how horrifying. poor thing.

    God sometimes I really hate people, what an unbelievably cruel thing to do. Animals suffer so much. I hope they are prosecuted, I hope they get their asses beat in jail. Horrible people.

    I saw this on the news a few days ago.. It’s really horrifying that some people actually thinks that it’s ok to first make donkey parasail, and then almost drown it afterwards by pulling it after boat and just leaving it in the water. I really hope they get punished severely for this.

    You have a point Erin… But if everything was an eye for an eye, we’d be blind. Now i’m not saying that these dicks don’t deserve a sentencing or anything, because they really do…

    But everything can’t be resorted for an eye for an eye.

    Just a random thought though…
    Surely if the donkey was dragged 7m ish in the water?… Wouldn’t it of suffered some kind of fractures or something with the awkward landing?
