Michael Lohan, Kate Major: It’s Getting Dirty!

Michael Lohan has been officially charged with 2nd degree harassment after his girlfriend Kate Major accused him of assaulting her.

Kate claims that she and Michael were involved in a heated argument (which Lohan acknowledges) and that he shoved her into a chair which she fell over, injuring her shoulder. She is also alleging that when she was down he kicked her in the face. Michael denies the physical abuse.

Michael’s story is that Kate was drunk and that she is making the story up. He also says she is broke and needs the cash. Supposedly Major’s father just cut her off from an allowance and she has no income coming in. Michael claims he has supported her for the past 8 months.

Lisa Bloom, Lohan’s attorney released the following statement regarding the incident:

“Michael Lohan 100% denies each and every one of Kate Major’s allegations.  He has never threatened to harm her, never assaulted her, and never physically abused her in any way. Kate was heavily intoxicated during the verbal argument between Michael and Kate in the early afternoon on Monday early.  Michael Lohan has been clean and sober for six years.  Michael Lohan is fully cooperating with the police investigation.  No charges have been filed.  He expects to be fully vindicated.”

Michael’s arraignment is set for August 18th.
