Bret Michaels’ Bus: Weed Found During Police Stop

Bret Michaels’ tour bus, weed on board!

Weed was discovered on Bret Michaels’ tour bus Wednesday night during a routine traffic stop in Dekalb County, Indiana.

Two of Bret’s tour buses were stopped, his and his crew’s. On Bret’s bus, drug sniffing dogs found pot. On his crew’s bus weed AND a Schedule II controlled substance was found. A Schedule II controlled substance can be cocaine, meth, oxycontin, you know, the heavy stuff.

Bret’s spokesperson confirmed the new to E!: “Two of Bret’s tour buses were pulled over late last night. Officers on the scene claimed there were no trailer tag lights. No arrests were made. Mr. Michaels allowed an open search of the buses and everything was handled in a professional manner.”

Citations were issued, meanwhile, and the charges will be forwarded to the Dekalb County Prosecutor’s Office for review.

So no one was arrested. Wow. Ok, so it is Bret Michaels, and right now America LOVES him, but if that had been anyone else, they would have been hauled off. Period. Love you Bret, just sayin’…

Actually, the Midwest has some of the most lenient drug laws in the country. Most states say that if you have less than a certain amount, it is simply a citation

Are drug sniffing dogs brought out on all tail light violation traffic stops? That’s a very bizarre story. The dog was just there? Or was the name of the band on the side of the bus and the locals wanted some action? I wouldn’t be one bit surprised to find out that Bret was on Schedule 2 meds considering he nearly died a couple of months ago. When he was in the hospital the news releases kept mentioning how bad the pain was from his condition. It’s just a curious story.
