Lindsay Lohan Released From Jail

Lindsay Lohan released from jail early Monday morning

Lindsay Lohan was released from jail Monday morning after serving only 13 days.

Lohan, who was sentenced to 90 days in jail, spent 13 days in solitary confinement before being released at approximately 1:30AM this morning.

Los Angeles Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said: “She has been sent directly to her next destination, which is a treatment center. And she will now be under the supervision of the L.A. County probation department. This concludes her custody.”

Lindsay is now undergoing a rehab treatment program at the UCLA Medical Center. She will be there for a 90-day stint.

She needs to keep her nose clean (literally) while in rehab. If she violates her probation it’ll be back to the slammer for her. Even after rehab she needs to stay out of trouble. She’s on probation until August 2011.

TMZ reported yesterday that Lohan will be treated for a crystal meth addiction and bipolar disorder. We have no proof or confirmation of this at this time – but it seems about right.

Will Lindsay use this experience as an opportunity to get her life back? Or will she kick and scream the whole time and end up violating her probation once again?

Glad she is going to treatment!

She’s been drug tested for months and has not had one dirty test. That’s not usual addict behavior, she hasn’t been drinking either. No usual alcoholic behavior. She’s just a club kid in Hollywood who dabbles, probably frequently and had she done her classes and made her court appearance no judge would be treating her this way. In LA she did more time than anyone with a misdemeanor charge by about 10 days.

I’ve always thought that there was something psychiatric going on – perhaps some self medicating but UCLA is by far the best place if you have a dual diagnosis and so it’s her best chance to get better – if she chooses. People for get that you can’t get help unless you want it, you can’t force someone to do anything. Eventually this will all be about redeeming her career and not being so obvious, plus getting her through her probation period. Revel will be up her ass the entire time because she gets to steal some of Lindsay’s fame. I wish Lilo well. She needs it.
