It seems Mel Gibson’s father, Hutton Gibson, isn’t a big fan of the Pope – or the Catholic church.

Hutton Gibson ranted on a radio talk show this weekend about how he feels Pope Benedict has refused to address many controversial issues facing the church – and one of those things is gay rights. And no, he is not for them.

Hutton blasted Pope Benedict saying he feels the Pope is gay, and that “half the people in the Vatican are queer.”
