Van Halen Reuniting with David Lee Roth? [2010]



Van Halen reuniting with David Lee Roth? We hope it’s true.

I know we have heard this before, but it seems that Van Halen and David Lee Roth may possibly be reuniting and recording an album together as we speak.

Warner/Chappell Music recently stated in a press release that not only were the renewing their contract with Eddie and Alex Van Halen, but that ”The group is currently in the studio recording an album with Roth that is due for release in 2011.”

No word on if bassist Michael Anthony wil return to the group. Eddie Van Halen’s son, Wolfgang, has been playing with Van Halen recently.

Wouldn’t this be bitchin’? Hopefully this time there is a bit of validity to the rumors. I would LOVE to see Van Halen reunite with David Lee Roth, but I have a hard time believing that Eddie Van Halen and David can get along long  enough for it to happen.

    Considering they toured a few years ago, I’m not surprised that they’re doing an album together now. Who knows, maybe they put aside their differences enough to make this happen. I’m still pissed over the way Eddie kicked Michael Anthony out; from what I can tell, Mike’s a good guy, and I always say that if you fight with a good guy, that must make you a real asshole. We’ll see if they can actually make a decent album.
