Alanis Morissette is pregnant with her first child!

Morissette, who wed rapper Souleye earlier this year, broke the news in Us Magazine. In the “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” section, she put “I am pregnant!” as #25.

Hooray for Alanis, LOVE this girl! Not only is she an amazing singer, she has a knack for acting as well. She played “God” better than anyone ever had in the film Dogma, (OK, minus Morgan Freeman in Bruce Almighty), and I absolutely love her on Weeds as the OBGYN of Nancy. (Oh, how I miss that show…)

Congratulations to Morissette and Souleye. I have a hunch they will be GREAT parents!
