Zsa Zsa Gabor: death may be near for the actress

Zsa Zsa Gabor requested a priest read her the last rites Sunday, according to her publicist, John Blanchette.

“She asked for the priest this morning. The priest came in and gave last rites,” said Blanchette.

Gabor, 93, broke her hip in June and was hospitalized at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center until last Wednesday. However, Thursday she was readmitted after suffering chest pains. Doctors discovered two clots, one close to her heart. She has been hospitalized since.

Her eighth husband, Frederic Prinz von Anhalt, has been by her side the entire time. The couple’s 24th wedding anniversary was Saturday.

Zsa Zsa was able to carry on conversations until Sunday when her condition worsened.

Gabor’s three sisters and mother all died after breaking bones.
