Steven Tyler pushed off stage by Joe Perry
Steven Tyler was pushed offstage by bandmate Joe Perry during a performance in Toronto last night.
It all started innocently enough. During the song “Love in an Elevator” Steven Tyler playfully hip nudged Joe Perry who was playing near the edge of the stage. I don’t think Tyler meant any harm in doing so, but it seems Joe Perry didn’t take too kindly to being pushed. It probably made his heart race a bit since he was on the edge of the stage.
Steven went on performing and had his back turned to Joe when Joe came over and pushed Steven, the same way Steven had pushed him. However, this time the push sent Steven over the edge and into the crowd, who fortunately caught his fall.

The weird thing about all this is, Joe sees Steven fall, but after pushing him just keeps on walking down the stage, away from Steven. It’s like he didn’t even care that Steven had fallen! And after Steven’s fall last year at Sturgis, you would think this could be a bad thing. (Steven was hospitalized last year after falling from the stage.)
This pushing incident may signal the end of the band, sadly. There have been problems for awhile now, but this may have been the straw to break the camel’s back. It’s too bad because Aerosmith rocks! I’ll keep you updated on this one!
