Tila Tequila vs. Juggalos, the battle wages on
Tila Tequila has vowed to put an end to the Gathering of Juggalos which has taken place for eleven straight years.
Tequila was attacked by an angry mob of fans who didn’t approve of her being a performer at the festival. The crowd threw bottles, rocks and even human waste at her while she was onstage. One report alleges that a group of Juggalos had been “soaking” a watermelon in urine and feces in preparation of Tila Tequila’s taking the stage.
After she left the stage, Juggalos chased her and her bodyguards into her trailer where they rocked it and broke windows. After all was said and done, Tila was left with scrapes, cuts and bruises. Now she wants revenge. She claims she is suing the organizers of the Gathering of the Juggalos.

Tila Tequila told E!: “I’m hoping this will be the last juggalos gathering that they will ever have.”
Juggalos is a term used for fans of the rap group, Insane Clown Posse. The festival also includes other Psychopathic Records groups. The annual gathering is held in Hardin County, Illinois.
Tila continued: “If you just look at these people, or monsters, whatever they are, they looked very angry and violent.”
Not all Insane Clown Posse fans consider themselves to be “Juggalos,” in fact I found a website out there called, ICP Fans Against Juggalos, and it was started months before the Tila Tequila incident ever happened.
E! interviewed Tila regarding the Gathering of the Juggalos event:
Tila Tequila is hated by many, and sucks at music (and life), but really, did she deserve to be attacked in such a violent manner? I don’t think so. I definitely think she has a legitimate reason to sue. The crowd was completely out of control and something should have been done to control the situation before it got so out of hand. Even if that meant taking Tila offstage for her own protection. Instead she was allowed to stay onstage, taunting the crowd while topless, and the crowd was basically allowed to keep throwing crap at her, which just made things worse.
What’s your opinion about this? Do you think Tila has a right to sue – and do you think she’ll be successful?
I agree with you, Spicy – She is not a likable person, but that gives no one the right to brutally attack her. Those people need to be put in jail, and she should be awarded something for her medical bills and suffering for sure.
I’m not a fan of either Tila Tequila or ICP and I want to preface this by saying that no one deserves this type of violence. The truth is I think Ms. Tequila overestimated her ‘celebrity.’ According to sources, she had been warned numerous time beforehand about going out there and she thought that somehow her music would go over with them. She shouldn’t have been attacked, but it was not smart of her to even attend that event.
When i was working for wildchild magazine i was going to cover a concert that would be attended by juggalos. They told me via my publisher that if i showed up (its a hard rock magazine) i would be beaten and raped.Needless to say i wasnt allowed to go but they do need to be stop
Honestly, I think it was a reality check she DESERVED. Why? So far, she has achieved (haha achieved) her fame/notoriety with the concept of anything for fame, which included milking Casey Johnson’s death, pretending to be suicidal, and faking miscarriages. These are all very real life events that real people suffer through and she basically made a mockery of all of that without a second thought or caring how it made those people feel. And guess what, there were consequences: people REALLY don’t like her.
I have friends who listen to ICP (don’t consider themselves juggalos though) and they don’t want to hear dumb bimbos lip synch. A lot of the rap on the same label as ICP is referred to as horror core, there’s a lot of violent lyrics and imagery to that. Maybe her dumb*** should have done some research first. Her “music” career is just as pathetic as Paris Hilton’s and Heidi Montag’s, and these rap fans weren’t gonna take it. I’m just sayin’
Although I don’t believe she should have been beaten, I do think her egging it on and taunting did not help the situation. The crowd and her, in my opinion are ignorant jerks. I feel sort of bad for her…I definitely think she has mental problems and needs to get help for it.
I think when the promoters heard about or knew that there was a plan to attack an act, Method Man was also hurt, they should have addressed the crowd and told them the show would shut down and it would end the Juggalo fest or what ever it is. Mob mentality is lethal and everyone is lucky someone wasn’t killed. Not that I would expect much from this group but the fact that they were warned meant the promoters should have gotten out in front of mob and gotten control of the situation before anything happened. She’s an idiot, but no one deserves to be hurt during a performance. She should never have agreed to go on but she’s so desperate to be “something” famous. She’s lucky she’s not dead.

She craves attention. She got attention. What’s the big fucking deal ?
she was ALLOWED to stay on stage? she has mind of her own you know. she can make decisions for herself. you wouldnt stay in a den of lions if there were an open door to escape through. sure she didn’t deserve getting pelted, but you’re making it sound as if other people were responsible for her actions. any one can decide to walk off stage because theyre tired of getting hit by objects. she’s not three years old. shes supposed to be a grown woman.
