The Diamond Power of Veto
Tonight’s episode of Big Brother was the best yet this season and tomorrow should be equally as good when Matt uses the Diamond Power of Veto!
Since Ragan took himself off the block with the (regular) Power of Veto, Brendon had to put up another nominee for this week’s Big Brother eviction, and that person is Matt. So as it stands, both Lane and Matt are on the block. BUT…since Matt has the Diamond Power of Veto, which no one knows about, he will have the power to take himself off the block.
As Julie Chen told us when Matt was HOH, whoever was the HOH last week was going to be the most powerful HOH in Big Brother history. The Diamond Power of Veto came at the perfect time for Matt, who will undoubtedly use it.
Besides the twist of the Diamond Power of Veto, the other highlight in tonight’s show was the bitchfest between Ragan and Rachel, who came back into the Big Brother house for 24 hours when Brendon opened Pandora’s Box.
It was definitely the best fight of Big Brother 12 so far!
Rachel came into the house sashaying, yelling and swinging those ratty extensions in the air. “I’m back BITCHES!” she screamed even before getting both feet in the door. Lucky Ragan, he answered the door and probably popped an eardrum at the shrill of Rachel’s annoying voice.
Quickly Rachel zeroed in on Ragan, but Ragan was not having it. He told her, “Why don’t you go fix us a drink, RA-TRESS.” I about spit out my water when I heard it. Ragan 1, Rachel, 0.
Rachel then said to Ragan, “Do you have to be the biggest bitch BECAUSE YOU’RE GAY?”
Ragan 1, Rachel, -1.
The fight cooled down, but not for long.
Rachel decided she was going to make cookies (or so she said,) and she tells Kathy and Britney about it. Then she struts her skanky ass outside to where Ragan is sitting, alone. Again, she zeroes in on him and picks a fight out of the blue. “Ragan, I’m going to make big, soft, gooey cookies, you want one?” Of course her tone of voice is “Neener, neener, neener!” Ding, ding! Round 2 begins.
After exchanging insults back and forth Ragan really lets her have it.
He says to her: “Everything about you is a LIE! Your hair extensions, your boobs, your FACE. The only thing honest about you is the pimples on your chin!”
Still, Rachel’s comebacks are weak and she usually can only respond with, “Oh, really!” or “Why don’t you insult me more, Ragan!” But Ragan is on a roll and isn’t about to drop this fight.
“You’re a wicked witch. Why don’t you get on your broom and fly back inside!”
Ragan, 3, Rachel, -1.
Rachel to Ragan: “If this is your game play, you really suck at it.”
Ragan: “Rachel, you were out of the house last week!”
Rachel: “And I’m BACK!”
Ragan: “For 24 hours! You’re here for a limited time! Because your boyfriend did Pandora’s Box and released something horrible in the house!”
Ragan, 4, Rachel, -1.
The fight continued as the two walked over to the pool table. Ragan gets even more heated and even more vicious in his “chat” with Rachel. But it’s not like she didn’t have it coming to her, she asked for it. Completely.
Ragan: “Why don’t you talk about me being GAY and me being a BITCH!?”
Rachel responds with the lamest comeback, ever. “Because I LOVE gay people and you suck at it!”
Ragan responds, “You CLEARLY love gay people. One day you’ll realize that the ATTENTION you want is not from negative behavior, but treating people with with decency and respect! learn from it!”
And he storms inside the house, leaving Rachel standing, speechless for the first time, I think, ever.
And the undisputed Big Brother bitchfest fighter is…..RAGAN!
Thank goodness Rachel left after 24 hours, I don’t think anyone can take another minute of her in the house. Egad! The houseguests are right. Every fight in the house has revolved around her. Good riddance to her and her rat hair!
So, back to the Diamond Power of Veto…what do YOU think will happen when Matt plays it? Will the Diamond Power of Veto come back to bite Matt in the ass? If he uses it, the houseguests will immediately lose any trust they did have in him. He lied to everyone by saying he had only won $1 in Pandora’s Box. The Diamond Power of Veto may save Matt, but it will also put a huge target on his back!
All I can say is, finally, drama, fights, excitement! This season of Big Brother has been a little slow in this regard. It’s about time!
