LADY GAGA MEAT BIKINI [VOGUE JAPAN PHOTOS]

Lady Gaga, always cutting edge and controversial, is rocking a meat bikini on the cover of the September issue of Vogue Hommes Japan.

We’re not sure why photographer Terry Richardson chose meat as Gaga’s clothing for the Vogue cover, but as with most of Gaga’s wardrobe, we figure it is most likely symbolic. Symbolic of what exactly? Possibly suggesting that Lady Gaga is “raw” like the meat she is wearing, or maybe symbolic of the death of trends, as Lady Gaga is famous for starting her own.

Of course animal right’s activists aren’t too happy with Lady Gaga’s meat bikini and they have addressed the controversial Vogue Japan cover: “Oh, Lady Gaga’s job is to do outlandish things, and this certainly qualifies as outlandish because meat is something you want to avoid putting on or in your body,” says PETA’s President, Ingrid Newkirk.

Quite a tame response from them this time, no?

Okay, the meat bikini is just gross. I still love her though, but I am hoping that it is fake meat? ewwww

Amazing what makeup & Photoshop can do for a person. I would not have known that was Gaga if you hadn’t told me.

I love meat! I can tolerate Lady Gaga. So all-in-all not a bad mag cover…

Still, amidst reports that Gaga was hospitalized six times last year for starving herself to fit into stage outfits, has the singer – who has famously declared that “pop stars should not eat” — been too busy wearing her food to eat it? And, if so, why make such an ‘outrageous’ (!) fashion statement?

that reminds me a beatles album cover in the 60′s… she’s just excentric but not original…. ¬¬

Except for the 1st person on earth nobody is original, including The Beatles and The Beatles were not even eccentric.
