

Rich Cronin of LFO, dead at 35 years old
Cronin was the lead singer, writer and founder of LFO. The band’s biggest hit was the single Summer Girls from the band’s 1999 self-titled album.
Rich Cronin later spoke out about the band’s onetime manager Rich Pearlman saying that he was a perverted creep who wanted sexual favors in order to advance boy band’s careers.
VH1 cast Rich Cronin along with Chris Kirkpatrick of ‘N Sync, Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees and Bryan Abrams of Color Me Badd in a 2007 reality series titled, Mission: Man Band.
LFO briefly reunited in 2009.
Rich Croin had battled with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia since his diagnosis in March of 2005. He later founded the Rich Cronin Hope Foundation to raise awareness about his form of leukemia.
