Taylor Swift “Innocent” VMA performance

Taylor Swift’s performance at the MTV 2010 VMA’s was, to me, a bit lackluster.

I know many of you will disagree and I took some hell about it on Twitter during the live MTV VMA’s last night, but it’s just my opinion. Yeah, Taylor Swift is cute as a button and all, but her voice is simply mediocre. Anyhow, I’m not here to hate on her, and I am certainly not thrashing on her character.

I really don’t get why everyone things shes amazing. she’s nothing extraordinarily special, I’m sorry! But at least she finally did something different with her hair and makeup for this performance. Her eyes don’t look at squinty.

Aw, I thought she did a great job. Very sincere and intimate, even on that giant world stage. And I don’t follow her work, I just watched the video wanting to see a car wreck.

I thought she looked very pretty done up like that, and I usually like her songs, but she could NOT hit the high notes of that song!!! I don’t think she got even one of them! I did like her jabbing back at Kanye though.

I think she did a FABULOUS job! Shes obviously a classier and bigger person for what happened last year. I love the song and cant wait for it to come out. I think there are just soo many haters. How can they call what came out of Kanyes mouth a “song”? Anyone can throw some negative criticism (whihc didnt make sense by the way) and curse words, heck I know 4 yr olds who could put better lyrics together! I love Taylors music, and that she writes her own songs, which ALL have a positive message. So stop hating people, shes an amazing person and she makes way more $$ than ya all can ever dream of and theres a reason for it! I bet shes considered way more famous than Kanye, hes obv got alot of hate in that heart of his. He needs rehab and therapy.

For a 20 year old girl to write a song with such meaning is truly amazing!! I’m glad my kids look up to her, she is the perfect role model. My kids would’ve punched Kanye, however Taylor is so charming and classy and insists ‘everybody makes mistakes’. What a precious

I am a HUGE Taylor Swift fan, but even I admit that her voice is not on the same level of say, Leanne Rhimes. She has a nice voice (I think she’s trying a little too hard lately, she should stick to the notes she can hit), she writes all of her own songs and is just a nice person. She is the type of celebrity that should be celebrated. She is appreciative of everything she receives, she LOVES what she does and shows it. There was a story a month or two ago, about how she stayed at a fan fest for something like 16 hours, just to make sure that every, single person who waited to meet her would be able to get an autograph and a picture. She is a classy young woman, and I use her as an example to my own daughter. There are alot of older, established celebs that should take a page out of this young lady’s book.

i think its her way of calling kanye a little kid because of his actions, and that he is 32 and he is still growing up

it wasnt a diss its basicallt sating you were a dum ass everybody makes me mistakes make up for them your only 32 your still young she is forgiving but yeah she ws stupid for being nice to some1 who was a dick
