Ines Sainz sexually harassed by the NY Jets [Pictures/ Photos]
Ines Sainz, a stunning sports reporter from Mexico, was harassed by players of the New York Jets.
Sainz, a former Miss Spain and Miss Universe contestant, was on the sidelines during the NY Jets practice on Saturday and was reportedly subjected to wolf whistles and cat calls from NY Jets team members. The men flirted with her, throwing footballs in her direction, but it was after practice that the harassment came.
[Above: Ines Sainz in a picture/ photo of what she was wearing the day of the incident with the NY Jets. She Tweeted the picture to show fans, some of who wonder if she was dressed appropriately.]
Ines Sainz waited in the NY Jets locker room to interview Mark Sanchez when the men came filing in. The team said sexually suggestive things to and about her, with no regard for their surroundings. As she waited for her interview she Tweeted: “I’m so uncomfortable! I’m in the Jets locker room waiting for Mark Sanchez and trying not to look around me.”
Her next Tweet: “I want to cover my ears.”
Ines Sainz says that the NY Jets coach has since apologized and she has accepted.

Later she described the incident saying that she remained professional as the harassment happened and that it bothered her colleagues more than herself. “I decided not to pay attention. I was focusing on my interview, so I go direct to the locker of room of Mr. Sanchez and I wait for him. But I believe that the rest of the media start to hear the different kind of things that I didn’t hear. And sometime in a minute, a colleague (said), ‘Come with me, and I’m so sorry. It’s terrible. I feel sorry for you.’ So I tried to say, ‘Don’t worry, I can handle the situation.’ And that’s it. And I don’t even try to pay attention . . . I was focused on my job, and try to not pretend not to be feeling bad in this situation.”
Ines Sainz says this isn’t the first time she has had to deal with sexual harassment, but she does say that it was the most crude language she’s dealt with.
“I was covering [sports] for nine years. And probably, I have similar reactions in a different kind of sports. But, never, the vocabulary never so rude. I think that the media that in the locker room, what are really upset is about the vocabulary they used to refer to me. I want to say that I’m not the one who made the charge. Because I didn’t even say, ‘Hey, I feel bad for that, with NFL.’ The ones that say that something is happened there is the rest of the media.”
Ines Sainz is obviously incredibly gorgeous, and her body is amazing, as you can see in the photos. But that certainly doesn’t give anyone the right to treat her like a piece of meat. It seems the NY Jets had the “pack mentality” thing going on and I would have to think that not only would that be repulsive, but perhaps a bit scary for her. Shame on these grown men and “professionals” to act like a bunch of sex deprived inmates. Of course the whole debate of whether or not women should be allowed in locker rooms will probably heat up again after this incident.
I could not give a rat fuck if she was in her goddamn bikini!!! Sexual harassment is NEVER acceptable, a woman should be able to wear whatever she likes without some mouth-breathing cock-tard saying boo to her. If anyone disagrees, get spayed, right the fuck now as we don’t need more of your kind on this earth.
Ok, I am not saying that she deserved this, but does she really think she would be respected if she dresses so scantily each and every time she covers a match. And those guys are morons, so not even worth an interview!
If a man would go into a all girl’s locker the same thing might have happened, not cool, but it is something to keep in mind!
Bullshit! She is the very reason women will never be truly accepted as equals in the professional world, like it or not, it is fact! A professional TV reporter would never have her blouse undone to the middle of her chest, in a men’s locker room, during a TV interview! (unless it was for Hustler!) I saw the interview and she was dressed like a little club tramp, not like a professional reporter. Pretty, yes, without question… classy, not even close!
All you men hating girls can complain all you want but you can NOT have your cake and eat it too. Men will NEVER take us serious because of BS like this. She had her tits hanging out for attention, now the minute she gets it, she twists the story to gain even more… yeah I know she is saying she didn’t start it but she playing it… fuckn sicking.
Act and dress like a class act and you will be treated as such, dress like a whore and you get treated like a whore…. no matter who comes here to bitch at me for what I just wrote, it will not change the world or the truth behind all the political correctness that real men will never stand for.
She indicated that she’s used to it …. ummmmm because she’s very aware of how she dresses. She can handle it. It was probably a fugly American female reporter who got offended. Alex Flanagan, and Lindsay Soto are hot (too) and they would never dress like they’re going out to a club. There’s a time and a place for everything. Watch what Flanagan wears on NFL All Access. Inez would dress completely differently.
If you watch the hispanic channels pretty much all the women (weather, sports anchors) are hot. There’s a big cultural difference between “us” ???? and “them”. In LA where there’s a big hispanic population, the local news, English-speaking channels have to compete, so they have hot weather/sports women too, who also dress like they’re going out to a club.
No Jenny, YOU, and the men who think like this are the reason for sexist behaviour. I can’t believe your petty jealousy of this woman’s looks has validated those men’s actions. I feel for you girl.
I mean pardon me, but wasn’t that tiny thing called the women’s rights movement about woman being able to be treated equally and not like some little trophy for men to paw at and ogle? Sheesh! Some ‘feminists’ do the cause more harm than good.
First, there is no proof that she was harassed and who harassed her. She hasn’t even outright admitted that she was harassed. Second, it does natter what a woman is wearing under these circumstances. Her jeans are practically glued to her butt. She obviously has no respect for herself or other women in her profession. Most importantly, she has no respect for her husband and is no role model for her kids flirting with all the athletes, getting uup on their backs. If I was her husband,I would kick that wrinkled ass out the door so fast she wouldn’t know what happened. Yes, it’s obvious that she will get attention and publicity wherever and whenever she can get it. Yes, women that act this way are asking for it.
Wow John, a double whammy there! Not only are women whores for wearing whatever they damn please, but men are simpleton beasts who can’t keep their eyes to themselves, is what it pretty much boils down to in your eyes or so it seems, no one wins but it’s all HER fault. She’s wearing jeans and a t-shirt, possibly the most casual get-up one can imagine, if she fills them well, power to her. But I digress, she has the right to go about her business and do what she likes, dressed as she likes without abuse from athletes, you or anyone for that matter.
I would never call a woman names and stuff like that but after a football game most guys are missing a few brain cells and you are wearing skimpy outfit that someone would be wearing at club. You continuously try to put men as “simpleton beasts” when the very nature of football is such that Its a very INSTINCTIVE and primal, game full of uneducated and sometimes educated men. You have no real argument here. Everyone knows its wrong but yet she is in the wrong at the same time. She should never wear what she wears to a place of business. Just like how I would never wear baggy clothing or tight revealing clothing if was ripped and was looking for an interview in a woman’s locker room. No one has the right to do whatever they like. Then I would show up to work with jogging pants and a T-shirt would that be ok, and if I were to get verbal abuse from it. Doesn’t mean its right to get it, or that I was right to wear whatever I want to. But I made a CONSCIOUS decision to look the way I looked inducing comments I know that will happen is stupid and self inflicting upon myself.

These boys need to learn that every woman should be treated with respect! Shame on them!!!

Miami? Same thing.
Ohio? Nope.
