John Mayer’s Twitter account deleted
After threatening to delete his Twitter account in the past, John Mayer has finally made good on his word.
John Mayer had millions of Twitter fans, literally, 3.7 million to be exact, but despite his fans loving that they could keep up on his Twitter updates, Mr. Mayer made the decision to delete his Twitter account permanently.
It all started after John Mayer’s infamous Playboy interview when he called ex-girlfriend “sexual napalm” and said that his d*ck was like a white supremacist. The Twitterverse went crazy. John definitely received quite a backlash afterward and considered canceling his Twitter account then, and he did disappear from it for awhile, but resumed Tweeting again after too long.
Sunday was the last day of John Mayer’s love affair with Twitter though, and he dumped it like a bad habit.
John’s publicist says that John doesn’t have a need for Twitter any longer because his Battles Studies Tour is “now at a close and a return to the studio planned.”
John Mayer still plans on keeping fans up to date on things via his official website.
