Tim Gunn: “Taylor Momsen is a Brat”

Fashion consultant Tim Gunn is not a fan of 17-year old Taylor Momsen – not even close.

Momsen, who is the lead singer of The Pretty Reckless and also stars on the television series Gossip Girl, left Gunn less than impressed after he recently shot a guest spot for the show’s fourth episode.

Tim Gunn says that Taylor Momsen’s performance as an actress was pathetic. As he described her attitude on the set of Gossip Girl he pulled no punches, calling her both “sad” and “pathetic.”

Gunn told E!: “What a diva! She was pathetic, she couldn’t remember her lines, and she didn’t even have that many. I thought to myself, ‘why are we all being held hostage by this brat?”

He added that if he were a regular on Gossip Girl that he wouldn’t stand for her bad attitude and he’d confront her about it.

“I’d say, ‘You know young lady, there are hundreds of thousands of girls who are just as attractive and even smarter than you. Why are you acting like this show is a huge burden on you?’ She was on her phone during every break, I wanted to tell her, ‘If you weren’t on your BlackBerry, you can retain this stuff.’ ”

Gunn dished that Momsen disrupted – and pissed off – everyone on the set of the show.

“I learned from teaching to stick with the topic, I don’t get involved in character appraisals,” Gunn explained. “I’d just ask her ‘do you want to share with me why you’re always on your phone?’ At one point the director leaned in and whispered to me, ‘this is day in, day out, my life.’ She annoyed the entire crew.”

This news doesn’t exactly surprise me. Taylor tries so hard to be….well, hard. She chain smokes on set, looks like a fricking raccoon with all that makeup on (smoky eye FAIL!) and dresses like a junkie looking for her next trick so she can get a fix. And all her mommy does is follow her around on set like a puppy dog, making sure her meal ticket is happy at all times. Of course Taylor Momsen is a little prissy brat. Everyone lets her be one. Creating a monster is what they are doing. Just watch. We’ll see where Taylor Momsen is in 5-10 years. I promise it won’t be on the set of a hit show. Mark my words.
