Lindsay Lohan tests positive for cocaine

Lindsay Lohan has failed two seperate drug tests that were conducted last week.

One of the tests came up positive for cocaine. Shocker there.

Being as Lindsay is on probation, and one of the terms is jail time if drug tests came back dirty. 30 days for each offense, but we all know that means maybe a couple of weeks.

This has really been terrible for Lindsay’s already suffering career. Depending on how Judge Elden Fox decides to handle this, Lindsay might not be able to host Saturday Night Live or to shoot “Inferno” in Louisiana. If Fox decides to prohibit her from traveling, it is almost certain Lindsay’s bankability in Hollywood will crash.

Lindsay, for once in her life, is being open about her drug use on Twitter. She posted them on Friday night and admitted that her drug test did come back dirty.

“Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result. Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn’t go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future. This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I’m prepared to face the consequences. I am so thankful for the support of my fans, loved ones and immediate family, who understand that i am trying hard, but also that I am a work in progress, just as anyone else. I am keeping my faith, and I am hopeful….Thank you all!!!”

I was shocked that she wasn’t blaming someone else! But this “trying hard” bit? I’m not buying it. We haven’t seen any real effort on Lindsay’s part to quit drugs. She needs to want to quit. I’m not sure she’s there yet. We did hear that Lindsay attended an AA meeting Friday night instead of going out. But was it because she wants to quit doing blow – or because she was desperately attempting to repair her image after the fact?

    I was rather surprised reading her tweets, but she has never admitted having substance abuse issues. Wasn’t she was let out of rehab early because she was just being “over-medicated” with medication that was unnecessary? And wasn’t her treatment for those prescription drugs, not cocaine? I’m also wondering what else she tested positive for.

    I hope that judge throws the little idiot back in jail. It was a disgusting display of preferential treatment when she was released from rehab after less than a fucking month, and she has shown that she is incapable of controlling herself. She doesn’t want to get clean? Fine, then let her do her time, the ENTIRE amount so she won’t be on probation and won’t have to deal with those pesky drug tests, and then let the cracked-out meth-head fade into oblivion. Well, except for the updates on her prostitution and drug possession arrests.

    And if she wanted to stop doing blow she would be at an NA meeting, not AA. She’s looking ahead to going before a judge, and she wants to look like she’s contrite and ready to live a sober life. I call “BULLSHIT” on this.

    I judge the cruelness of some of the comments above harsher than Lindsay Lohan’s addiction problrms. Most people don’t even they have a problem until their life spins out of control, There are addicts among us but are funstional addicts. She will have to remove herself from anyone who partys and they party everywhere.
    This IS a cute girl, probably a sweet young girl whose whole life is played out in the public eye and she’s literally fighting for her life against a demon that kills people everyday. And you people are no help. I’m sure you have your own vices but you get to deal with them privately. Love and kindness conquors all. She will have to reach down and ignore cruel, unempathetic comments and believe herself like never before. I so wish her the best.
