Gordon Ramsay and Joseph Cerniglia
Jospeh Cerniglia, a New Jersey chef, starred on the Gordon Ramsay reality show Kitchen Nightmares in 2007 and was found dead recently.
Up to his neck in debt, Joseph Cerniglia, owner of Campania, was hoping for help by appearing on Kitchen Nightmares. Instead Gordon Ramsay ripped apart his restaurant saying Cerniglia’s cooking was bland and that he was a wasteful chef. In a chilling look back at one episode, Ramsay told Cerniglia that Campania was about to “swim down the Hudson.”
The body of Joseph Cerniglia was found in the Hudson hours after a witness saw him jump from the bridge. He was 39 years old.
