Lisa Rinna’s Lips Reduced [PHOTOS]

Lisa Rinna and her trademark lips

After years of denying it, Lisa Rinna, 47, finally admitted last year that she’d had her lips plumped with silicone back in 1986.

No one was fooled though, the lumps and bumps and plumpness of her lips certainly were not natural. Lisa decided she no longer wanted to be known for her huge lips and she decided to ave her upper lip reduced surgically on August 26th.

Lisa Rinna tells People magazine: “My lips started to define who I am. That bothered me.” She admits that when she had her lips plumped in 1986 she did so spontaneously with a girlfriend. She says it was like getting a tattoo and not really thinking about the repercussions of it. Once she admitted to fans and the public that she had undergone the lip procedure years ago, people reacted negatively. “I took a big hit for being honest. It gave everyone online permission to lambaste me. It hurt my feelings.” But she’s over it now, and as for her lip reduction surgery she says, “It doesn’t matter what other people think,” she says. “I did it for myself.”

Lisa Rinna’s lip reduction surgery will take 6 months to fully heal, but already she is seeing results. Instead of her lip being “bumpy and uneven … my lip has no lumps! It’s smooth . . . It’s a work in progress, but I feel fantastic.”

Lisa is incredibly beautiful and fit, especially for 47-years old. Her lips, in my opinion, really distracted from that. They were  the focal point of her existence, and she is right, they defined her. I think it is great, and brave, of her to have the lip procedure corrected. I look forward to seeing the new lips, Lisa!

She was so much prettier before the lips, but so were 100 other actresses at the time, so I think it’s great she is taking out some of that mess. Her lips were ugly and they looked like they belonged on another part of her anatomy.
