Michael Douglas’ Cancer Treatment Ends

Michael Douglas’ cancer treatment has come to an end, eight weeks after he started chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Douglas’ publicist, Allen Burry, confirmed the news: ”No further treatments are scheduled.”

For the next six weeks Michael Douglas is expected to recover from the harsh treatments. He will then be periodically monitored by doctors.

Burr added: “He’s really happy about it ending.”

Douglas reportedly had a difficult time swallowing, but managed to eat on his own. “He was determined not to have a feeding tube, and he didn’t have to have one,” said Burry.

Despite the cancer Douglas has kept himself busy promoting Wall Street 2 and caring for his daughter, Carys.
