The above photo is Kanye West’s new controversial album cover for “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.”

Kanye West’s new album art is causing quite a stir. The cover of “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” shows a black man and a white angel-like creature with wings. Both have frightening faces, jagged, sharp teeth, evil grins and scary eyes. The painting does feature a little bit of nudity, a nipple and a tush, and due to the nudity some stores, such as Walmart, are refusing to carry the album.

Kanye West tweeted about “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” and the album cover this weekend saying:

Yoooo they banned my album cover!!!!! Ima tweet it in a few…

Banned in the USA!!! They don’t want me chilling on the couch with my phoenix!

In the 70s album covers had actual nudity… It’s so funny that people forget that… Everything has been so commercialized now.

I know that cover just blew yall minds … I wish yall could see how hard I’m smiling right now!!!

In all honesty … I really don’t be thinking about Wal-Mart when I make my music or album covers #Kanyeshrug!

So Nirvana can have a naked human being on they cover but I can’t have a PAINTING of a monster with no arms and a polka dot tail and wings

Your thoughts on the controversial cover? I’ll be honest, it creeps me out a bit! But there have been a lot worse covers than that and they used to just wrap the albums in paper bags to sell them. Why can’t they still do that?
