Hangover 2 will indeed star Mel Gibson, says Jodie Foster, close friend of Gibson’s.

Jodie confirmed the rumors that Mel Gibson would be starring in The Hangover sequel to Extra, saying: “He really liked the humor in that first movie so I’m glad he’ll be in it.”

Regarding all the controversy surrounding Mel, Jodie says she has high hopes that he will pull through. “He is incredibly loved by everyone that’s ever come into contact with him or works with him. He is truly the most loved man in the film business, so, hopefully that stands for something.”

Rumor has it that Mel Gibson will play a tattoo artist in Hangover 2…

    I always thought the father of her children was Randy Stone, who died very young a few years ago. There have been rumors that Mel was the sperm donor, I’m thinking it’s possible now because why else would she defend this horrible, racist, women hating, abusive, homophobe? I can’t believe she is defending him and no, he’s not beloved in the industry at all, as soon as Ed Limato died – his agent, the VERY next day his agency dumped him! Everyone loved Ed but not Mel and Ed felt pity because Mel is so very screwed up. Very few people like him personally because he’s a horrible strange man. Jodie you really are disappointing. Yeah a cameo in the Hangover 2 as a crazy tattoo artist will make him loved again. Oy vey.
