Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to be back in court on Friday, October 22nd to answer charges of her violating her probation, due to the failed drug test.

Lindsay will leave the Betty Ford rehab clinic to attend her hearing, and she may possibly be taken back to jail for another 30+ days. Her legal team is hoping that Judge Elden Fox will simply send her back to rehab rather than jail as they feel this will be most effective for Lindsay’s rehabilitation. Lindsay is reportedly eager to spend as much time in rehab as the Judge requires and she is apparently doing well there. So to send her to jail would disrupt her treatment and possibly have a negative effect on her progress.

No one knows what the judge will decide, but if Lindsay does get sentenced to jail again she would remain there for a minimum of 30 days.

It’s kind of like Groundhog day! Will this crazy cycle of rehab and jail ever end for Lindsay? Well, only if she keeps her nose clean. Literally.
