Michael Lohan, the father of Lindsay Lohan, was attacked Thursday night outside of his home.

Michael, who recently announced that he would not be talking with the media any longer, says he received a threatening phone call an hour prior to the incident. Lohan was attacked as he left his home to go buy a pack of cigarettes.

The suspect, who Michael believes to be 50-60 years old, choked him and cut him on the neck and arm with a sharp object. The man eventually fled.

Michael Lohan was involved in another scuffle in August when he got into a fist fight with Damon Feldman of the Celebrity Boxing Federation.
