MINISTRY – EVERYDAY IS HALLOWEEN

Ministry’s ‘Everyday is Halloween’

Flashback to 1984!

Possibly Ministry’s best known song, it’s been 26-years sinceEveryday is Halloween has been released. The song was actually re-released in 1986. It was more about the “gothic” subculture than it was Halloween…

Ministry went on to a harder, more industrial sound by the 90′s with hits such as Jesus Built My Hotrod (a personal favorite of mine) and N.W.O. (New World Order). I was fortunate enough to have seen them live in 1992 at the best Lollapalooza ever. I’ll never forget hearing N.W.O. that rainy Seattle day in the mud pit. Ahh…memories.

Everyday is Halloween can be found on Ministry’s Twelve Inch Singles (1981-1984) album. It’s a must listen this time of year! Enjoy!

Oh so cool! Another good Halloween song: Misfits – Halloween :) Both, great, great bands!

A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste was one of my fave cds from Ministry-Burning Inside-Theme song to the movie 8 Seconds-The Lane Frost Story starring Luke Perry.

From the Psalm 69 cd-I liked the song Just One Fix–Good song to work out too.

Spicy-Sometime you will have to post Soundgarden’s Hands All Over video from the Louder than Love Album. That’s good music to (fill in the blank) too with a good buzz on!

Someone on Twitter recommended it today, and strange to say I’d never heard it before. Yes, I grew up in a small town.

I like Mad World, although it’s not technically Halloween: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4N3N1MlvVc4
