Disney star Demi Lovato has checked into rehab after suffering what her publicist is calling “emotional and physical issues.”

This weekend on Twitter a trending topic was #prayfordemi. Apparently Demi Lovato had deleted her Twitter account and fans were speculating that she may have overdosed. Other fans guessed that she had been hospitalized for asthma. It’s still not exactly clear just what happened to Demi Lovato, 18, last weekend.

Ironically, Demi Lovato posted a photo of herself in the hospital last April [right] – but she really wasn’t in a hospital, she was simply on the set of Grey’s Anatomy. But still, the photo is a bit eerie considering recent events.

In August, Demi Lovato had been briefly hospitalized after she fell ill before a scheduled Meet n’ Greet in Frisco, Texas. She eventually showed up to the event, 3 hours late.

Whatever the reason Demi Lovato is in rehab, she has dropped out of the international concert tour with the Jonas Brothers to concentrate on her health.

Never thought that Demi Lovato would be the one to go in Rehab…
alot of people look up to her as a romodel and now shes in rehab. It doesnt make sence to me.

ohmigod! i cant beleive how jonas and demi fans are like turning on eachother now. demi fans seem to hate joe, and jonas fans r callin her a drama queen! its horrible.
first, to demi id like to wish her well and i honestly hope she gets better. shes been through so much lately and im so glad that disney is still supporting her as well.

Wo0ow i like love demi and when i heard about all this i literly started to break down and call myself ugly and fat and i have no idea y but i guess its because i love her so much and i look up to her and i hate that she does this to herself.. This probably the result of Stress and Exhaustion that comes with being on tour and a pop icon where too many people the putting unrealistic expectations on here.

Remember a few years back when Mariah Carey was getting all loopy and was hospitalized. Being on tour is not the most healtiest thing, no wonder she got sick in Texas.

here is probable rundown of Demi’s schedule

0500 wake Up

0600 Interview with KPOP FM
0630 Interview with KRAP FM
700-900 Meet and Greet at buymorecrap mall

1000 Interview with KCUF FM
1030 -1100 Hit several local news morning shows
1200-1400 Press Conference

1500- 1900 Roll into Arena for soundcheck and rehearsals

2000-2200 Concert

2300-0400 Aftershow Promotional Party and After party

0430 get on bus to go to next city and start all over again.
