LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are officially engaged.

After snapping a photo on Halloween [above] of what looked to be an engagement in the works (Eddie proposing on one knee) the couple later claimed it was a Halloween “trick,” LeAnn even saying on her Twitter: “When we’ve already been engaged according to the Tabloids like 3 times, what’s the Big Deal of us having a little fun!”

But in the past few days LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian really have gotten engaged as E! has confirmed.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have been a controversial couple since they met on the set of Northern Lights last year and began to have an affair behind their spouses backs. They denied the affair for months until suddenly both LeAnn and Eddie left their significant others within a week of each other.

Now that LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are engaged, how long do you give it? I am going to give it 2 years. If that. I just don’t see them making it. I still think Eddie is in it for the money, and LeAnn is being duped. How long will LeAnn spark his interest until someone else, better looking with more money comes along? Hmmm?

    He’s a serial cheater who was so disliked on Miami CSI he was fired, she’s an idiot who is buying a man who lookswise is way out of her league, I can’t wait to see how this impacts her financially, and how long he stays when she puts him on a money diet. Not long.
