Beyonce’s new commercial for her fragrance HEAT is a bit too hot for television in the UK.
The racy commercial has been banned from airwaves during daytime hours to keep young children from viewing it.
The Advertising Standards Authority has decided that Beyonce’s “HEAT” commercial is too “sexually provocative” to air during the day and should only air after 7:30pm.
A spokesperson for the ASA stated: ”Body movements and the camera’s prolonged focus on shots of her dress slipping away to partially expose her breasts created a sexually provocative ad that was unsuitable to be seen by young children,” said the ASA. “We considered that the ad should not have been shown before 7.30pm due to the sexually provocative nature of the imagery.”
*Ahem* Let’s just say that Beyonce turns Beyonce on. Cripes!
Now, for children’s sake, I could see pulling this one off the air far more than I see a reason to take Katy Perry off of Sesame Street. There is SUCH a difference in content!
