A little John Lennon for your Friday…

“Watching the Wheels,” in my opinion, is one of the greatest John Lennon songs ever. The video clip above is cool because it’s a studio demo. After he sings the song, which is obviously not fine tuned at that point, you get to hear John B.S. about the recording.

The clip below is the finished product of “Watching the Wheels” which we are all familiar with. It was released in 1981 after John Lennon’s death. It was the third and final single released from Lennon and Yoko Ono’s Double Fantasy album.

The world misses you, John.
